educations from the open board have to submit their NIOS assignments before the
last date as mentioned in the schedule provided by NIOS. The students must submit the NIOS assignments before the
last date or their assignments will be marked absent which is not acceptable.
What is NIOS Tutor Marked Assignment?
The Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA) is NIOS
assignments to be submitted by the course enrolled in class 10 or class 12
levels. For each subject selected by the students, there are three assignments
that carry 6 questions. Students are required to complete all the assignments
and submit to the subject teachers/tutors/coordinators at the allotted
Accredited Institute (AI) for evaluation.
Importance of NIOS

TMA for the secondary level
will carry 20% weightage in the NIOS assignments marks will be mentioned
separately (in a different column) on the mark sheet of students after the
final examinations.
What is the Last date of Nios Assignment File
Submission
Last
date of Assignment is 31st January for March /April exam and 31st July for
October/November exam.
Note: If the last
date of assignment submission falls on public holiday/ Saturday/ Sunday then,
the next working day will be considered as the last date for NIOS assignment
submission.
